Through a series of management changes, the original “not normal” mission to create kick-ass burritos tailored to every guest had gotten lost. Before they could scale, they had to get back to getting it right. Our role was to position them for growth by redefining their brand identity to bring them back to their rock & roll roots and celebrating their independent spirit.
Nice brings “start-up” thinking to established restaurant concepts. For Freebirds World Burrito, we unlocked their “indie rock” persona, crafting a new positioning that made them a successful challenger to Chipotle.

WAY EFFECTIVE WAYFINDING
Freebirds with their 2 billion menu options became an intimidating experience to newbies. It also doubled line times versus Chipotle. We were asked to simplify the consumer journey from curb to table. So we started at the curb and developed a faster more efficient way to move customers to their food.
